CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES
All CELOSIA_RE orders are lovingly packed and shipped from the United Kingdom. If you’re ordering from outside the UK, your parcel may be subject to customs duties, taxes or import fees set by your country’s customs authorities.
Good to know
- We’re required by law to declare the true value of every order, so we can’t mark parcels as gifts or change the declared value.
- Any customs duties, taxes or import fees are the responsibility of the customer. They aren’t included in the price of your piece or your shipping costs.
- If anything is owed, your local customs authority or the delivery company will contact you before your parcel is released.
Avoiding surprises
We’d always recommend checking with your local customs office before ordering, so you know what to expect.
Ordering from the EU?
From 1 July 2026, the EU is introducing a €3 customs charge on parcels under €150 sent from outside the EU. In some cases, an order containing different types of item may have more than one charge. This fee is set by the EU and is separate from VAT and shipping.
Ordering from the USA?
Orders shipped to the US may now be subject to import duties, even on lower-value parcels.
Refused or unclaimed parcels
CELOSIA_RE isn’t responsible for delays or additional charges applied by customs. If a parcel is refused or left unclaimed because customs fees haven’t been paid, we’ll refund the cost of your items, minus the original shipping cost and any return fees we’re charged.
